With over 3000 customer relationships, AMI sells to leading companies in a wide variety of industries:
Orbital Systems Equipment is the only Authorised Service Center for Arc Machines Inc. equipment in South East Asia. We import the equipment directly from America and we also provide quality servicing that matches the highest standards set by AMI. This is to ensure that the orbital welding systems maintain their brand as one of the most durable and reliable in the industry.
The huge advantage of owning your own welding machine is that you can get control it 24/7. You can react to unexpected changes in project timelines and deadlines and also take on projects with lesser downtime because you can carefully control how the machine is utilised. Purchasing of the welding system is generally also more cost-efficient in the long run. Orbital Systems Equipment has a range of brand new and used orbital welding equipment ready for purchase.
Rental of the orbital welding equipment gives you access to the latest range of systems available. Coupled with the fact that you also get access to a broader range of equipment, this sometimes significantly help to increase efficiency in companies. Renting the orbital equipment also allows you to get started on projects with a lower initial investment. Our fleet of rental equipment is always carefully checked and serviced before being sent to the customer.
With years of experience in this industry, Orbital Systems Equipment is well-equipped to handle repairs for all models of Arc Machines, Inc products. From the power supplies to the weld heads, we have the necessary knowledge and experience to recondition them and restore them to their original condition. We also provide regular maintenance and servicing for the orbital welding systems to ensure that they remain in tip-top condition and provide top performance.
Orbital welding was first introduced in the aerospace industry because there was a need for a superior joining technique. The orbital welding process uses the Gas Tungsten Arc Welding Process (GTAW) as the source of the electric arc that melts the base material and forms the welding joing. In the GTAW process (also referred to as Tungsten Inert Gas Process – TIG) an electric arc is established between a tungsten electrode and the part to be welded. The tungsten electrode is rotated around the tubing weld joint. The arc welding current would be controlled with a central control system thus automating the entire process and the result would be a more precise and reliable method of welding as compared to the manual process.
